I am from Mumbai, India and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India. I came to the states for graduate work and received a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
I was an intern at Siemens (Mumbai, India), Schneider Electric (Mumbai, India), Freescale Semiconductor (Noida, India), and IM Flash (Lehi, Utah) for the summer before I graduated.
I love reading and am an amateur writer who dreams of publishing my own stories some day! I also enjoy cooking and am slowly being taken in by the year round hiking activities in Utah. I have always been a sand and sea person so the mountains are definitely a major change for me. So far, I am liking this change!
I work with the functional probe team where we validate the different aspects like read and write functionalities of the memory that we manufacture through coding different test algorithms.
The one thing that strikes me as most inspiring is the sense of unity in achieving company goals. Because everyone is so driven to achieve our goals, regular activities like resolution of conflicts, hitting daily targets, and task allocation become simpler. I hope to embody this sense of unity during my tenure here! I think the best thing about being an engineer is the problem solving it entails. Every problem is almost always unique and that’s why the sense of a challenge never ends! That’s what drives me.
